Good News

Lots of good news of late.

Stephanie got a job

Summer Semester is over

Our Anniversary is next Sunday.

I dyed my hair today (pics to follow)

So to elaborate, I got a job working on campus in the Records and Registration Office. I will be working full time during the 7 week break, which is fantastic! Then in the Fall, I will be working 15 hours a week. I get to work with my best girlfriend, Meghan Nelson! It is going to be wonderful. And, in case you were wondering, Grant is LOVING his job!

Summer semester is over! I only took one class this semester, but with all the craziness, that was enough. The class is over and that means, fall is coming!

Our Anniversary is next Sunday the 31st of July. I can’t believe it’s been a year! So much has happened, but it seems only yesterday I married my best friend! I love him more than I did the day we got married. My love for him grows every day!

Crazy Eights

Our lives are getting crazier but slowly getting better. We have a home. We LOVE our new apartment. We have a way to get around-both of us. We are slowly moving in. Grant has a job, and even better, he Loves his job. I am still Job hunting, but am getting through the phases. I’m on phase 3 now. Phase 1 being apply; phase 2 being-drop off resumes, phase 3 waiting and getting interviews; and phase 4 get a job. So that will be taken up with the next 8 days or more.

Janelle’s bridal shower is tonight. The temple trip is tomorrow. The Day is in 8 days.

Here we come!

Truckee, California aka Middle of Nowhere

So, for those of you who don’t know, the Bug job didn’t work out. So we are on our way back to Rexburg. On our way up, we stopped in Hughson, CA to visit Grant’s family of whom I have come to absolutely love. Shout out to the Boice Family. After about 1 day, we left to come up the Idaho Falls because Grant got a job as a lifeguard and swim instructor at the new YMCA in Idaho Falls. So we left at the ugly hour of 7 am. We were on our way, off to a new and exciting adventure. Well, we hid a road block. Literally. We blew a tire three hours in. We put on our spare, which was on its last leg, and headed down the road a few miles to a little tiny town named Truckee, California. Luckily there was an auto shop at the first exit we saw so we pulled off and talked to the man in charge. Blah blah we needed the rim we left on the side of the road…bad news. Everything is closed and no rim for us. Two days later, we call a cab and go to get the rim and tire and ten minutes later we are on the road with a $900 hole in our wallet. Advice: Never get stuck in Truckee California. Ever!
